Heading West into Oregon (helmets required by State Law) and the Owyhee Reservoir Dam, this leisurely and scenic ride will go through the farmlands of Idaho as well as Oregon and then into the deserts of Oregon along the Owyhee River to the Owyhee Dam to view the Glory Hole spillway. This type of spillway virtually leaves a 60’ round hole in the water when the reservoir is full. This is a sight to see if you have not seen one. The Dam was the highest dam in the world when construction was finished in 1932. The Road Captain on this ride will explain several interesting facts about the dam as some of his family were involved with the project!
